Honeywell Industrial Control picks new president

John H. Weber was appointed July 20 as president of Honeywell Industrial Control (IC), a business unit of Honeywell International. Mr. Weber will be responsible for IC's mission related to product development and market globalization. IC includes Honeywell's Industrial Automation and Control (IAC) and Sensing and Control (S&C) divisions.

John H. Weber was appointed July 20 as president of Honeywell Industrial Control (IC), a business unit of Honeywell International. Mr. Weber will be responsible for IC’s mission related to product development and market globalization. IC includes Honeywell’s Industrial Automation and Control (IAC) and Sensing and Control (S&C) divisions. Mr. Weber was formerly president of Honeywell Friction Materials, and he will retain responsibility for this business unit. Before joining Honeywell, Mr. Weber was president and coo of KN Energy (Denver, Colo.), a $9-billion integrated energy services and natural gas provider. Previously, he spent five years with Aeroquip-Vickers (Toledo, O.) in senior leadership roles, and also worked for GE’s North American and European operations, Baxter International, Dow Chemical, and Shell Oil.
