Honeywell picks new president and ceo
Honeywell announced Feb. 19 its Board of Directors has elected David M. Cote as the company's president, ceo and board member effective immediately. Mr. Cote replaces former president and ceo, Lawrence A. Bossidy, who will remain as board chairman until June 30, 2002, when he will retire as originally planned.

Mr. Cote replaces former president and ceo, Lawrence A. Bossidy, who will remain as board chairman until June 30, 2002, when he will retire as originally planned. Mr. Cote will become board chairman at that time. Mr. Cote most recently served for six months as chairman, president and ceo of TRW (Cleveland, O.). Before that, he worked for 25 years for General Electric in various positions.
