Industrial computers: NEMA 4x rating, touchscreen, wireless option

Medfield, Mass. — Comark Corp. ’s EnduraTouch series of NEMA 4X industrial computers offer a high-resolution display and a resistive touch screen. The series features a stainless steel enclosure, sealed I/O ports, and conductive cooling technology, keeping out water and dust in area where humidity, extreme temperatures, vibration, and caustic wash-downs are part of everyday operations.

According to the company, each system provides a brilliant image and an easy-to-use interface, while saving valuable workspace with a small footprint and ergonomic design.

EnduraTouch uses low power, high performance Intel Mobile processing technology and can be configured as either a thin client or a workstation. Storage options include both solid-state compact flash and hard disk drives, and supported operating systems include Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Embedded XP, Windows CE, and Linux. Three models are available, and the computers can be equipped with 802.11g wireless networking.
