Industrial-grade magnetic inclinometer
The PTAS2 series by A.C.E. is a sensor designed for harsh conditions, making it suited for factory automation and robotic applications.
The PTAS2 is an industrial grade sensor that has been tested to withstand the harsh conditions which make it suited for a wide range of applications such as factory automation machines and robotics, mobile cranes, draw bridges, adjustable platforms and off-highway construction equipment.
The PTAS2 series is available with three different absolute analog outputs: 0.5-5 V, 0.5-10 V and 4-20 mA with a typical resolution of 0.1°. The measurement range is available from ±15° to ±180° in 15° increments. The compact 36 mm diameter housing with servo flange mounting allows for quick and easy installation.
Since the PTAS2 is based upon wear-free, multi-Hall Effect position sensor technology, it offers significantly increased reliability in extreme environments. The PTAS2 is tested to withstand 100 g shocks and 20 g, 10 Hz-2 kHz vibration.
Other features include:
- Protection class IP67/IP69K
- Wear free, magnetic measurement principle
- Redundant second channel as option
- 336 mm housing
