Grayhill Inc. (LaGrange, Ill.) has signed an agreement to port Intellution’s (Norwood, Mass.) Paradym-31 SoftLogic control software to Grayhill’s PC-based OpenLine controller. As a result, on power-up, the OpenLine system scans the ID pins of each I/O point and populates the Paradym-31 database automatically. Intellution’s Fast Link technology allows sharing of the I/O data with the 32-bit Intellution FIX human-machine interface package using Ethernet TCP/IP language. OpenLine’s modular DIN-rail-mounted, snap together components control or monitor up to 128 analog or digital I/O points. I/O configurations can be in flexible dual point modules or 16-channel bricks. Power supplies come in 85 to 264 V ac or 24 V dc. Intellution integrated Paradym-31 with its FIX solutions after acquiring of Wizdom Controls.
