Intergraph acquires Pelican Forge Software
Houston, TX—Intergraph recently announced that it has acquired Pelican Forge Software (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada), which develops SupportModeler software for detail designing of process plant and offshore platform pipe supports.

Pelican Forge will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Intergraph Canada Ltd. Current licensing and distribution arrangements are unchanged and employees will remain in the company’s Saskatoon office.
Support and development of Pelican Forge software integrated with Intergraph Plant Design System (PDS) and Bentley Systems PlantSpace will continue. The addition of Pelican Forge software to Intergraph provides an opportunity for tighter integration of SupportModeler with Intergraph’s SmartPlant 3D and PDS products.
