Interkama 2001 integrates process automation, software

Düsseldorf, Germany— Interkama 2001, the International Trade Fair for Solutions for Automation in Production and Business Processes, will integrate software, communications, and information technology with its traditional process automation focus here on Sept. 24-28, according to show organizer Messe Düsseldorf GmbH.

Düsseldorf, Germany— Interkama 2001, the International Trade Fair for Solutions for Automation in Production and Business Processes, will integrate software, communications, and information technology with its traditional process automation focus here on Sept. 24-28, according to show organizer Messe Düsseldorf GmbH. Nearly 60,000 attendees—including 31% from 98 nations—visited more than 1,250 companies from 37 nations exhibiting in 570,500 ft2 at Interkama 1999. Streamlined with a two-year rotation and a shorter five-day run, Interkama 2001’s wider exhibit coverage will concentrate on: Integrated solutions —e-business, ERP, MRP, MES, asset/facility management, security/risk management; Systems—human-machine interfaces, industrial computers and PCs, control systems of all kinds, SCADA systems, drive systems, etc.; Devices/Components—controllers, final control elements, motors and drives, servos, motion control, sensors, switchgear; and Services—for management, system integration, engineering, IT and the Internet. Interkama’s conference will consist of a free, forum-type program, “Innovation Marketplace,” with panel discussions, workshops, and other events close to the exhibits in Hall 13.
