Düsseldorf, Germany – With somewhat under two years to go until the opening of the 16th Interkama , the organizing Committee has been formed for this premiere international automation and process industries trade fair.

Heading the 28-member committee is Dipl.-Ing. Anton Huber, group executive director A&D Division of Siemens AG (Nuremberg, Germany).

Fair organizer Messe Düsseldorf ( www.messe-duesseldorf.com ) stresses the committee’s balanced make-up among exhibitors-large, medium sized, and smaller companies-and various industry associations. “This ensures a significantly stronger representation of interests for the user side of our committee,” says Armin Stader, project director of Interkama. Approximately seven associations and two high-technology institutes comprise the committee.

The next Interkama fair was originally scheduled for the autumn of 2003, but a crowded show calendar in that time span, among other reasons, led to the revised show date. Designated the “No.1 fair for automation and process industries,” Interkama 2004 is scheduled to run February 16-20, 2004 at the Düsseldorf Fairgrounds.
