Intrinsically safe accelerometers

Two accelerometer series, 786 and 787, are now available with intrinsic safety certification. Devices may now be used where flammable or explosive materials are present without causing electrical sparks or hot spots strong enough to ignite gases or dusts in the air. Series 786 IS top exit accelerometers include an integral cable model and dual-output model with temperature sen-sor. Series 787 IS side exit units include an optional modified mounting stud.
