Intrinsically safe level sensors

Fremont, Calif. — Scientific Technologies Inc. (STI) has introduced intrinsically safe capacitance level sensors for use in hazardous areas. KRE Series sensors are IP 54/NEMA 4 protected, feature patented sensitivity selection, and are adjustable from a safe, remote location. The remote amplifier can be mounted up to 200 m from the sensor with coaxial cable, and a separation distance to 1,000 m is available, depending on location.
