Chicago, IL— The Control and Information System Integrators Association (CSIA, Exton, PA) reported Oct. 23 that its pavilion at ISA 2002 included the greatest concentration of system integrators at a U.S.-based trade show. CSIA also reported that its participation at ISA 2002 capped the most significant year in its own history.
“In addition to participation in ISA 2002 by 20 members representing system integrators; our name change to `Control and Information System Integrators Association’; and recognition of 28 firms into the Register Member Silver Tier, this past year was marked by progress in many areas for CSIA and our members,” says Norm O’Leary, CSIA’s executive director.
In fact, Mr. O’Leary adds that another 36 system integration firms are presently in line to be audited, which is part of achieving Registered Member status. CSIA currently has 140 members, and all must be registered within the next three years.
CSIA’s milestones over the past 12 months included:

-
A new membership category, Participant Member, was added to enable small, young or even start-up system integration firms to join CSIA; and
