Organizers say ISA Expo 2004 is the largest and most comprehensive automation and control showcase, including more than 500 exhibiting companies in 100,000 square feet of space; two technical conferences, and an exceptional continuing education and training program. Other major events at ISA Expo 2004 include:
A security panel of government and industry experts addressing an anticipated crowd of 500 at a special cyber security forum at 11:45 a.m. on Oct. 5 in Room 301 at the Reliant Center. David Sanders, director of critical infrastructure cyber security for the National Cyber Security Division of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, will be joined by his counterparts from the U.K. and Canadian governments, as well as an oil and gas industry expert. They’re discussing ‘Automation Systems: an Achilles Heel to Our Critical Infrastructure.’
Daily keynote presentations at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 5-7 in Room 301 at the Reliant Center feature industry leaders:
John Sieg, DuPont’s managing director of corporate operations, who is discussing ‘Using Process Control to Improve Business Results’ on Oct. 5;
Jim Pinto, managing partner of jimpinto.com, who will deliver ‘Automation Unplugged: Global Shifts in a New Age,’ on Oct. 6; and
Greg Jensen, CTO at Safelink Corp., an advocate of biometric standards, technology advocacy, and device interoperability, who will discuss ‘Biometric Technology: Prime Time!’ on Oct. 7.
