ISA Training Institute is bringing 17 courses and seminars to Philadelphia in April. Scheduled for April 4-8, 2005, the classes will include hands-on labs. Among the courses scheduled are “Securing Industrial Networks: Cyber Protection for Automation, Control, and SCADA Systems,” “Safety Instrumented Systems—Design, Analysis, and Justification,” and “Installing, Calibrating, and Maintaining Electronic Instruments.” Review classes for the Certified Automation Professional (CAP) and Control Systems Engineering (CSE) PE exams are also scheduled. Exam schedules for ISA’s Certified Automation Professional (CAP) and Certified Industrial Maintenance Mechanics (CIMM) programs are now available.
CAP exam sessions are scheduled for March 19, July 16, October 8, and December 10. CIMM exam sessions are scheduled for the same dates. There will also be special exam sessions for each certification on October 27 at ISA Expo 2005 in Chicago. The 2005 schedule marks the second year for these programs. Two updated catalogs detailing more than 300 continuing education courses and 400 reference publications and standards have also been released by ISA. The catalogs reflect the technical interests and information needs facing automation and control professionals, and cover such topics as security, networks, safety, instruments, and systems integration.
