Keithley offers free measurement how-to library on CD

Cleveland, OH—Keithley Instruments Inc. has released a tutorial CD containing a collection of its on-line seminars on measurement methods. Keithley's Making Measurements with Confidence is available free of charge, and offers practical, helpful techniques for obtaining the most accurate and precise measurements possible.

Cleveland, OH— Keithley Instruments Inc. has released a tutorial CD containing a collection of its on-line seminars on measurement methods. Keithley’s Making Measurements with Confidence is available free of charge, and offers practical, helpful techniques for obtaining the most accurate and precise measurements possible.

Keithley produced the CD to allow users to view the seminars without requiring them to go on-line, for example, when they’re flying in an airplane. Seminars on the CD include:

  • Four steps to precision measurements;

  • Ethernet-based precision instrumentation, introductory course;

  • How to get the most from your low-current measurement instruments;

  • How to make accurate resistance measurements;

  • How to make sensitive dc measurements;

  • Reducing voltage noise and error in challenging measurements;

  • Techniques for accurate nanotech electrical measurements;

  • Tips, tricks, and traps for advanced SMU dc measurements;

  • Understanding high-accuracy wireless measurements;

  • Understanding measurement uncertainty; and

  • Understanding the basics of switching systems.

The seminars on Making Measurements with Confidence are the archived versions of the original broadcasts narrated by Keithley’s experts.
