‘LabVIEW Mastery’ online video-based training
Exercises, quizzes, printable materials, and online peer forums for Beginner, Applications, and Professional courses.
Enable Training and Consulting Inc., a developer of real-time data acquisition, process and machine control, motion control, and machine vision applications, has launched LabVIEW Mastery, an online, video-based training curriculum for LabVIEW programmers and system integrators. Three courses are offered — Beginner, Applications, and Professional — for commercial and academic use.

All courses feature an interactive, video-based approach to training with emphasis on applied learning. Each includes examples, exercises, quizzes, printable learning materials, and online forums with peers. The Applications and Professional courses include five hours of free online consulting, to assist in timely application of concepts to current projects. Online consulting may be purchased separately.
According to Ben Zimmer, president of Enable Training and Consulting , “The curriculum offers the opportunity to engage in active, applied learning without the expense or inconvenience of off-site travel. The self-directed format means learning progresses as quickly or as slowly as needed. The courses can be returned to for review an unlimited number of times.”
The Beginner course covers basics of LabVIEW programming, with an introduction to tools, features, data types, and structures. The Applications course delves into event structure, state machines, and data acquisition. Those experienced in LabVIEW will benefit from the Professional course, which features advanced concepts and applications.
Licenses for LabVIEW Mastery are for one year and allow subscribers may log in any time from anywhere. The Beginner course is $999; the Applications and Professional courses are $1,499 each. Quantity discounts and academic pricing are available.
The company also hosts a regular video blog posted to by the LabVIEW Mastery Team, which provides hints, tips, and tricks, useful for users at all levels.It is free with registration for anyone to access. Registration also provides free access to the trial section of the LabVIEW Mastery website.
