AS1120 RoHS-compliant LCD driver is a new offering from austriamicrosystems intended for industrial and automation markets. Chip supports alphanumeric and bar graph displays. It can drive up to 46 segments of non-multiplexed LCDs and can be cascaded to increase this number. Serial interface allows easy integration into microprocessor-based solutions with minimal interface between the display and data source.
