Lead-free 40 W dc/dc converters

Power Sources Unlimited’s Cincon EC7C Series of 40 W dc/dc converters have remote on/off, remote sense, and protection circuitry.

Power Sources Unlimited introduced the Cincon EC7C Series of 40 W dc/dc converters compliant to the RoHS Directive. An ultra wide 2:1 input allows operation in a variety of mobile, battery-powered, or dc power system applications.

Units deliver tightly regulated, adjustable single outputs in a compact, industry standard 2 x 2 x 0.4-in. six-sided shielded metal package. Highly efficient (up to 90%), the series features a fix 350 kHz switching frequency all allows for operating temperatures up to 85°C, with derating.

They have remote on/off, remote sense, and comprehensive protection circuitry including output overvoltage protection. Pricing begins at $58 in 100-piece quantities. Power Sources Unlimited is based in Wrentham, MA.
