The Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) announced that every CSIA member, beginning April 1, 2016, was automatically enrolled in a new program, the CSIA|Legal Plan. The goal is to ensure that each CSIA member has access to legal advice from the automation lawyers of Faegre Baker Daniels, who have worked with the organization for more than 12 years. All participants in the CSIA|Legal Plan are entitled to have their standard company contract/terms and conditions reviewed and updated in English either free of charge or at a significant discount:
- There is no charge to CSIA Certified members and a $250 charge to non-certified CSIA members for the updating of terms and conditions consistent with laws in the United States, Canada, U.K. or China.
- There is a $750 fee for CSIA members of all types to update terms and conditions that are consistent with the laws of other jurisdictions.
