Level monitor for liquids and solids
Kennett Square, Pa.— Model 8000-KM level monitor houses both the sensor and transmitter in the same enclosure. The device transmits an ultrasonic pulse, which is directed toward a product to be monitored. The time it takes for the pulse to travel to the product and back as an echo to the sensor is precisely measured and converted to a digital display and a 4-20 mA signal.

Operating from a 24 V dc power source, Model 8000-KM is said to be ideal for measurements of liquid levels up to 15 ft and solids up to 7 ft. The instrument may be mounted directly on containers, including “tote” type containers, conventional tanks, and small bins. Users can program the instrument’s range via an internal keypad. www.bernhard.com Bernhard Inc.
