Linearstep stepper motor offers linear motion in a rotary size package. Available with outside dimensions of 25 x 35 mm, the motor’s linear shaft movement reportedly allows design of a simple system at less cost than conventional rotary stepper motors. Model is driven by the same drive circuit that drives the company’s tin-can-type steppers. It features ball-bearing support and a sturdy motor case. High thread efficiency and a large driving force are provided by a special type thread spec and an enhanced Neodymium magnet rotor. Applications include X/Y-table laboratory systems, medical pump devices, semiconductor wafer handling machines, and optical camera systems.
