Linear response from piezo drives

Eindhoven, The Netherlands— A series of motion controllers from Nyquist incorporates algorithms to correct nonlinear response of piezo-electric servo motors. The resulting system behaves like a dc drive, while retaining the dynamic response of piezo motors. The system is based on Nyquist's DAX/ASP motion control core that provides up to 48 servo axes across VMEbus.
