Omega’s LDI-127 Series linear variable inductive transducer (LVIT) position sensors are contactless devices designed for factory automation and a variety of industrial and commercial applications such as solar cell positioners, wind turbine prop pitch and brakes, and packing equipment. The modular design, high end performance and excellent stroke-to-length ratio make the LDI-127 sensors ideal for in-plant or original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). LDI-127 sensors are offered in five full scale ranges from 25 to 200 mm (1- to 8-in.). Operating from a variety of dc voltages, these sensors offer a choice of outputs and all include the field programmability calibration feature. LDI-127 products come with radial exiting cable and two swivel rod eye ends. The LDI series also includes a smaller body version, the LDI-119, for applications that don’t require a heavy-duty unit.
