North Andover, Mass.— Schneider Automation’s Magelis HMI product line delivers a broad range of operator and control station solutions that seamlessly integrate into industrial environments from the control room down to the process itself. Within a single product family, Magelis meets the requirements of machine manufacturers and users for openness and clear dependable communication in distributed automation system architectures. The Magelis graphic range includes operator terminals with a flat 5 or 10 in. monochrome or color (TFT) screen. It incorporates easy-to-use alphanumeric displays for maximum visibility and accessibility, using function and navigation keys, with a common operating mode throughout the range. The front panel can be customized according to the user’s needs in terms of colors, key labels, and printed logos. The complete range, from alphanumeric display to graphic station, benefits from the same XBTL 1000 design software operating under Microsoft Windows 95 or NT, version 4.0. Totally compatible with PL7 and Modicon Concept software for Schneider PLCs, Magelis products enable direct import of symbols, therefore eliminating dual tagentry. Schneider Automation
