Downers Grove, IL— Magnetrol International has launched its new TD1/TD2 thermal dispersion switch for air, gas, liquid, and slurry level and flow control. TD1/TD2 is the latest addition to the company’s Thermatel product line, and complements the existing Thermatel TG1/TG2 intrinsically safe switches and TA1/TA2 mass flow transmitters. Magnetrol produces process control level and flow instrumentation.
TD1/TD2 reportedly achieves new levels of performance by using compact, integral, explosion-proof electronics. The instrument is designed to meet the needs of process industry applications.
This thermal dispersion switch’s main features include: compact, explosion proof enclosure; easy-to-wire design; mA output signal for trending and diagnostics (in TD2); full agency safety approvals; ATEX, FM, CSA; easy calibration and set up; temperature compensation; fast response time to changing conditions; continuous diagnostics with fault detection; spherical or twin tip sensors; and a broad range of process connections and materials.
