Ann Arbor, MI— Manufacturing Data Systems Inc. eloaded OpenCNC or WinMotion software preloaded. The hardware and software components are preinstalled, configured and tested.

MDSI develops OpenCNC and WinMotion software control technologies, and provides industrial automation solutions. Designed for OEMs and end-user manufacturers, MDSI’s new products help reduce control integration costs—without sacrificing the flexibility of MDSI’s innovative open systems software technology.

‘We want to maximize the flexibility and ease-of-integration of our MDSI control technology by offering our customers a total solution,’ says Michael Mason, MDSI’s managing director. ‘With these new OpenCNC and WinMotion solutions we’ve combined the best of both worlds.’

As with traditional MDSI software products, the new packages allow machine designers and end-users to easily upgrade or interchange machine hardware, software, and peripheral components without having to reengineer their existing machine logic. MDSI adds that its software motion technology includes soft CNC or software motion, PLC, HMI, API and real-time data collection, which are integrated in one software program.
