By linking the GCX Process Gas Chromatograph Transmitter with the Fisher FloBoss 407 Flow Manager, gas flow is measured in BTUs per hour.

Orrville, O. —Rosemount Analytical and Fisher Controls, members of the Fisher-Rosemount group of companies, have combined to provide a solution for gas flow measurement. By linking the GCX Process Gas Chromatograph Transmitter with the Fisher FloBoss 407 Flow Manager, gas flow is measured in BTUs per hour. GCX Process Gas Chromatograph Transmitter, housed in a Class 1, Division 1, Group B enclosure, unites features of a traditional gas chromatograph in a transmitter package. It has a modular design separating instrument electronics from the sample analysis section providing for easy troubleshooting and parts replacement. FloBoss 407 Flow Manager is a high-performance flow computer capable of measuring and controlling natural gas flow on up to four meter runs. It features AGA-compliant gas calculation, PID loop control, logic functions, and sequencing control. Together, they support more than 80 standard process measurement applications.
