Merger creates Xycom Automation
To reflect their unified market position, recently merged Xycom Inc. and ASAP Inc. announced Dec. 1 the new name for the company will be Xycom Automation Inc. Both immediately began using this name. Xycom's industrial PCs and workstations continued to use their existing product names, but the "ASIC Control Suite" was renamed "ASAP Control Suite.

Xycom’s industrial PCs and workstations continued to use their existing product names, but the “ASIC Control Suite” was renamed “ASAP Control Suite.” In the future, Xycom Automation will offer control products with increasing levels of integration to make application development and runtime simpler and more efficient.
