Fort Smith, Ark. —Series 5 open chassis micro inverter is a compact, low cost ac inverter for variable torque, constant torque, or constant horsepower applications. Series 5 is available in 1/2 and one horsepower ratings for 115 or 230 V ac output. Features include microprocessor-controlled PWM output, accel/decel rate adjustment, reversing, adjustable current limit, and adjustable slip compensation. Up to 200% starting torque is delivered with a quiet eight kHz carrier frequency. Current limit is built-in, as well as electronic inrush current limit and filtering. Baldor Electric Co.
