Mini pressure sensors

Beaverton, Ore. -Resin Molded Cover type (IESP Series) and Flexible Board type (IESF Series) pressure sensors use a new proprietary material called Inastomer. The material features both conductivity and elasticity. The variable resistance properties of this material allow them to finely and continuously react to the degree of pressure applied. A light touch changes resistance a little while a heavier touch changes resistance more. Both devices are small in size and can handle up to 5 mA applied current. Intended applications include water volume measurement; pressure, load, and contact forces of robots and mechanical equipment; and roll pressure measurement.
