Modify sensors: When tab A won’t go into slot B…
Schneider Electric Sensor Competency Center (SCC), a Schneider Electric company, has set up a unit to provide customers with specially modified interfaces on any Schneider Electric sensor product. The North American Adaptation Center (NAAC) provides a simple and effective way to satisfy customer needs for special features on any sensing product, particularly inductive and proximity sensors.
NAAC is equipped to make any cable or labeling alterations to a sensor’s external housing that do not require electronic or internal circuitry modifications. Customers can specify a reduced cable length, customized bracket style or label requirement, or any specialized type of connector. They specify the custom requirement at the time they order the sensor from their distributor or directly from SCC. There is no minimum order size, so customers can order specialized interconnect hardware for one unit or many units.
SCC creates ultrasonic, photoelectric, and inductive proximity sensors, serving a variety of industries including packaging, food and beverage, automotive and pharmaceuticals.
