Mold-Tech Inc . recently extended its line of molded-on cable and ribbon assemblies for electronic products, which can serve in harsh environments found in mining, drilling, medical, and telecommunications markets.

The company reports that its molded-on process eliminates separate cable and connector assembly processes, and provides an integrated cable and ribbon assembly that won’t slip, vibrate or pull apart. The molded-on process also eliminates exposed connector ends preventing dust, moisture, and other contaminants from disrupting the contact and ribbon connection.

“Our Black Silver electronic cabling and connector products are designed for extreme applications, where typical cable and connector assemblies can fail,” says Don Barber, Mold-Tech’s president. “Now our customers can solve their harsh environment applications easily and economically.”

Black Silver electronic cabling and connector systems are available in single and dual row with common standard connector, cable, and ribbon types. Custom configurations are also available.

Established in 1984, Mold-Tech is a full-service, custom cable assembly manufacturer serving the computer, telecommunications, electronics, manufacturing, and medical industries. Its Black Silver custom cable and connectors for OEMs and end-use applications are distributed worldwide.
