Chicago, Ill. - GE Fanuc (Charlottesville, Va.) is offering its Six Sigma expertise through a new Global Solutions Business, which assesses, designs, implements, and monitors e-manufacturing systems that align factory floor operations with critical business needs, according to the announcement here on March 19, at National Manufacturing Week, which includes the Industrial Automation Show (March 18-21).

Kevin Roach, GE Fanuc vp, will lead the effort. The division ‘combines the two leading initiatives at GE-Six Sigma and Digitization – which have helped the company save billions of dollars and maintain a global leadership position,’ he says.
