Duluth, Ga. — AML software-only motion controller is available with ActiveX server and controls based on Microsoft’s Component Object Model. This allows pre-build objects from an ActiveX Control Suite to be dropped into Visual Basic, Internet Explorer, or other ActiveX-aware applications, saving programming time in interfacing to AML applications. Data throughput increases more than a factor of 10, compared to the DDE Server, the company says. Applications run on any Microsoft Windows NT-based PC containing a Sanyo Denki SMS-PCI SERCOS interface card. www.motiononline.com Automation Intelligence
