The Square D Model 6 Low Voltage Motor Control Center offers increased plant floor intelligence and motor protection with the addition of Schneider Electric’s TeSys T motor management controller. In addition to monitoring a motor’s current, power consumption and voltage, the controller uses built-in data communications protocols like CANopen, DeviceNet, Ethernet, Modbus, and Profibus to feed information back to centralized process control via on-board I/O. The unit can monitor motors that power pumps, blowers, fans, compressors, and conveyors, and can alert centralized process control if there is a current or imminent problem. It features six discrete inputs and three relay outputs, and can be configured via laptop PC for specific applications. www.us.squared.com Schneider Electric
