The SPiiPlus LF-CM machine controller from ACS Motion Control provides multi-axis integrated control and up to 64 additional nodes (axes or I/O) via a CANOpen network extension. The small-footprint controller includes a full PLC with an update rate of 1 ms, programmable in any of the five standard IEC61131-3 languages. The controller is said to be ideal for cost-sensitive multi-axis systems where space is at a premium, including biomedical, wafer handling and inspection laboratories, factory automation machinery, and servo control applications.

The SPiiPlus LF-CM from ACS Motion Control has automatic drive protection and controls single- and three-phase motors as well as two-phase stepper motors with encoders.

The SPiiPlus LF-CM amplifiers utilize a bus voltage of 60V

The SPiiPlus LF-CM uses the same high-performance motion-oriented software seen in the company’s other SPiiPlus controllers, and interfaces to many of ACS’s SPiiPlus accessories including HSSI I/O modules, HSSI external drive modules and HSSI absolute encoder modules.
