Adalet Wireless is offering a multi-channel, wireless base radio as part of its industrial wireless solution. Designed for installations requiring multiple field transmission points, Adalet’s multi-channel system allows up to 60 field transmitters to communicate with up to four receiver base radios. This multi-channel wireless solution is available with 4-20 mA, pressure, and temperature inputs, and can be ordered battery-powered, ac- or dc-powered, explosion proof, or DIN-rail-mountable. All process variable inputs are available through Modbus RTU.

Adalet reports its wireless system is a cost-cutting solution for transmitting temperature, pressure, or other data signals in explosion-proof, Division 1, or other industrial areas. Hazardous location wiring is extremely expensive or simply unfeasible in many applications, but the firm says its products eliminate the need for conduit and wires in hazardous or industrial locations.

The company adds its wireless innovation will enable new, creative applications in Class I, Division 1, and industrial locations. As a result, data collecting, sensor monitoring, and process control, and other activities previously impractical due to hardwiring constraints are now possible with Adalet’s wireless link.

Adalet’s wireless system includes a rugged, explosion-proof Division 1 or NEMA 4X enclosure, self-contained lithium battery pack, radio transmitter, and antenna. A receiver/base radio unit and antenna is also included, and can be installed in any of Adalet’s cast aluminum, fiberglass, or stainless-steel enclosures.
