Ecotec E3000 multi-gas leak detector from Inficon is designed for demanding production environments. Said to be easy to use and more immune to careless sniffing operation to minimize operator error, device detects leaks at greater distance from the leak location than other models; sniffer tip can be moved rapidly without missing leaks.

Device uses the company’s I-Guide operator-guiding mode to ensure the correct number of locations on each unit being tested is checked, and that each location is tested for the predetermined minimum time. A newly developed algorithm reduces false alarms by compensating for interfering background gases, such as foaming agents.

This model monitors itself and notifies an operator of trouble before any leaks are missed. Unit can be operated after initial set-up using the probe display without access to the main unit. Built-in Eco-Check reference check feature lets the operator verify the unit is functioning properly at the production line at any time.
