Umetrics has released Simca-4000 version 12 multivariate statistical process control (MSPC) software for real-time monitoring and prediction for continuous processes. The company describes Simca-4000 as an off-the-shelf, MS Windows-based software platform, providing multivariate statistical process control (MSPC) for continuous processes. Whether there are tens, hundreds or even thousands of incoming signals or parameters, it visualizes the current state of the entire process in a few simple plots.

Improvements include:

• Support for alarms based on results, including visualization and export of triggered alarms with functionality to display results in customizable clients, such as web clients;
• Support for projects created in Simca-P+ 12 and is available both as 32-bit and 64-bit;
• Robust client/server architecture with a dedicated server that performs all calculations in real-time and then sends the results to the client, which visualizes the results; and
• Results can be sent back to the historian for further communication to DCS or SCADA systems.
Umetrics offers complete solutions for both off-line and on-line data analysis for continuous and batch processes.
