New Cimplicity PocketView

Charlottesville, Va.— GE Fanuc Automation is introducing mobile access to its popular Cimplicity product line with PocketView, running on Microsoft Windows CE. PocketView is a hardware and software-bundled product that uses a wireless link to connect to an HMI server and display Cimplicity screens and data on palmtop computers—this is the first Cimplicity product to use its new Thin Client technology on the Windows CE for display of process visualization graphics. Necessary support software preinstalled on a Windows CE palmtop computer. Suited for mobile plant maintenance personnel, quality technicians, and data entry staff. It is able to view Cimplicity graphics, enter process information, and change setpoints without returning to a stationary terminal. GE Fanuc Automation
