New motor line for positioning systems

Victor, N.Y.— A selection of encoder-based motors are being added to Industrial Indexing Systems’ Delta-Pro series of single axis positioning systems. Rated at 1,500 rpm, these motors are available in nine ranges from 400 W to 11 kW. Dubbed the A Series, the new motors use 2048 line precision encoders, and have a higher rotor inertia than the company’s standard Delta motors, making them well-suited for direct drive servo applications.
