The unit provides heavy-duty lightning protection, an operating temperature range of –40° to 158°, screw-type and RJ-11 phone line terminations, and automatic recovery from failure to answer.

The unit provides heavy-duty lightning protection, an operating temperature range of–40° to 158°, screw-type and RJ-11 phone line terminations, and automatic recovery from failure to answer. Model 5901 features the industry-standard “AT” instruction set, which is compatible with v.32bis personal computer modems. It provides MNP-10 error detection and correction. Two versions are available: a DIN-rail version powered by 5 V, and a desktop version powered by an ac adapter. Control Microsystems
