New series of optical encoders

LaGrange, Ill.—Grayhill has added Series 61K (4-pin version) and Series 61R (5-pin version) to its line of high-resolution optical encoders. The switches are available with 25, 32, 50, 64, 100, 128, and 256 cycles per revolution. Custom resolutions also are available. The switches are rated to 10 million life cycles minimum, and 300 rpm shaft speed.

LaGrange, Ill.—Grayhill has added Series 61K (4-pin version) and Series 61R (5-pin version) to its line of high-resolution optical encoders. The switches are available with 25, 32, 50, 64, 100, 128, and 256 cycles per revolution. Custom resolutions also are available. The switches are rated to 10 million life cycles minimum, and 300 rpm shaft speed. These encoders are easily adapted to industrial applications. Available with several termination options including pin, cable, and custom assembly. The assembly can also be sealed for more strenuous environments.
