Scottsdale, Ariz. NKK Switches new and improved web site highlights the company’s global presence and switch solutions. The new site expands the switch manufacturer’s online capabilities and provides easier access to Internet users, customers, and design engineers.

Designed to better serve engineers, NKK’s new site offers SwitchZone, a virtual part builder developed exclusively for NKK. SwitchZone enables users to ‘build’ an application specific switch through easy-to-use criteria that alerts users to invalid selection and guides users to appropriate options. Upon selecting all switch characteristics, users can request a sample, download detailed spec sheets, and check distributor inventory.

NKK’s new Web site also offers Competitor Crosses. This option enables users to conduct a competitive series-to-series search. By entering a competitor’s product series, NKK locates the product that corresponds to the series and links to the specifications.

Additional features of the new site include colored cutaways that provide an internal view of switches, more switch photos, complete list of worldwide representatives and distributors, standards and approvals descriptions, and capability to order specific switch samples and the new NKK Switches’ Design Guide online.

NKK Switches manufactures more than three million different toggle, rocker, pushbutton, slide, keypad, keylock, illuminated, rotary, and DIP rotary switches.
