NMW 2002: Cognex reveals new vision products

Chicago, Ill. - Cognex added three models to its In-Sight vision sensor family.

Chicago, Ill. – Cognex added three models to its In-Sight vision sensor family. In-Sight 4000 improves frame rates and performance up to five times that of previous models in the family. In-Sight 4001 provides increased resolution to the family featuring 1,024 x 768 pixels for small object inspection or higher resolution images of larger parts.

In-Sight 4100 features a compact (1.25- x 1.25-in.) remote head camera vision sensor. All vision sensors contain built-in Ethernet, library of Cognex vision tools, and spreadsheet interface for application set-up. EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, ModBus, and Profibus communications are also available.
