NMW 2002: SAP, IBM aim to integrate product lifecycle software

Chicago, Ill. – IBM Corp. (Armonk, NY; www.ibm.com ) and SAP (Newtown Square, PA; www.sap.com ) strengthened their alliance to consult with customers to integrate and implement mySAP Product Lifecycle Management solutions.

About the announcement, SAP says, ‘mySAP PLM offers an integrated environment that ensures that alll people involved in product development, manufacturing, and services have quick and secure access to shared and current information.’

IBM is involved through its IBM Global Services’ Business Innovation Services PLM practice.

The organizations made the announcement March 19 at National Manufacturing Week, which includes the Industrial Automation Show.
