NMW 2005: Control Chief shows remote, wireless solutions

Chicago, IL— Control Chief is demonstrating four of its remote, wireless control solutions during National Manufacturing Week 2005 , March 7-10 at McCormick Place.

The company says its TeleChief Series is its most affordable remote control system. TeleChief consists of rugged, weather-resistant remote controls, which can give operators safe, convenient control from up to 328 ft.

Summit Series remote control systems are designed to replace cumbersome, hard-wired pendants. Summit reportedly can provide up to five-motion control in either a single- or dual speed pushbutton transmitter or a five-speed joystick transmitter. Control Chief adds that these radios ensure safe, wireless, and inexpensive equipment operation.

Sesam Series systems offer rugged, wireless control in non-critical applications. Because there are so many transmitter and receiver combinations available, there is are solutions for almost any application. This system’s flexibility, combined with its NEMA 4/IP65 rating and control capability of devices approximately 300 ft away, reportedly makes it useful in almost any en-vironment.

Remotus Series systems enable a high level of user configuration, engineered solutions, and multiple functionality levels. Remotus can be applied to basic equipment, with as little as eight points of control, or as many as a multi-speed device. Incorporating sophisticated features, the durability of a NEMA 4/IP65 rating, and flexibility, Remotus reportedly can fit cleanly into almost any application.
