Middleboro, Mass.— Nonprogrammers can create computer programs quickly without writing code using SoftWire Technology’s SoftWire 3.0, a Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 extension. Upgrades to this release include a visual debugger that speeds correction of mistakes via step-through diagrams. Break points can be set by clicking on a control pin or wire to stop an application then interrogate program flow. Users also gain ability to create an ActiveX Dynamic Link Library to develop and store reusable programming functions. The breadth of problem-solving abilities expands with addition of 31 new controls, bringing the total to more than 160. www.softwiretechnology.com
