Oscar compliance software from Cooper Bussmann is designed to help facilities comply with new electrical industry standards for determining the short-circuit current rating (SCCR) of industrial control panel assemblies. One-year subscription lets users access the software online anytime. By entering a component part number, the user can determine the assembly SCCR. UL508A and the 2005 National Electrical Code article 409 require all electrical panels and assemblies to display prominently nameplates with SCCR totals.
