Online moisture sensor

Irwindale, Calif.—The new online MM55plus sensor from Infrared Engineering measures moisture, fat, oil protein and other product constituents in powders, food, chemicals, tobacco, pharmaceuticals, and many other bulk solids. The MM55plus arrives precalibrated for the user’s specific application and can be installed directly onto any process line and operate within minutes. A large range of automated referencing, sampling, batch averaging and communications functions are standard, reducing maintenance effort and cost of ownership. MM55plus is available with analog output and RS-485, -422, and -232 communications and fieldbus options.
