Panel feedthrough terminal block uprated to 600V

Initially developed for alternative energy inverter systems, the 828 Series aids the separation of field-wired power input connections from sensitive electronics by simplifying the passing of conductors through enclosure walls.

Wago Corp.’s 828 Series feedthrough terminal block is now UL Certified for 600 V / 40 A. This enables to 828 Series to provide tool- and maintenance-free, through-panel terminations for control panel applications such as motor control centers, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, and electric vehicle charging stations.

Initially developed for alternative energy inverter systems, the 828 Series aids the separation of field-wired power input connections from sensitive electronics by simplifying the passing of conductors through enclosure walls. This creates “sub-panels” where power input connections can be made outside the “protected area” of enclosures or control panels. The 828 Series uses Wago’s Cage Clamp spring pressure connection technology to make terminations simple: Lift the lever, insert a stripped conductor (16-6 AWG) into the termination port, and lower the lever.

The single-piece 828 Series are said to simplify panel openings and eliminate alignment issues during panel assembly. An exclusive integrated lockout feature accommodates a security seal or tagout marker, and a Wago-exclusive panel gasket provides a splash-resistant enclosure seal for additional protection.
